Spadafora Peperosso Rosso (Calabria, Italy)

A balanced combination of Magliocco and Merlot carefully selected and harvested by hand in the Calabria region of Italy. Calabria lies at the “toe of the boot” in Southwestern Italy where there are warm and sunny days. This allows grapes to ripen fully, creating a full bodied, fruit-forward wine.

Ruby red in the glass with aromas of cherry, currant and raspberries. On the palette this wine is elegantly balanced with notes of cherry, spice and a fresh acidity. The finish is long and soft with elegant tannins.
